HOW TO BECOME A RAPPER AND BLOW UP 👀🎤

This post will be very bias and somewhat sarcastic hahaaaaa

I did a search on YouTube - “How to become a rapper” and “becoming a rapper experiment”. First, let me say this… at some point, Hip-Hop has became somewhat of a mockery to some. IDK.. it’s like a joke from the outside looking in. Can’t explain it, but I’m sure you get what I mean. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Anyways, I’m going to try something out. A 30 day experiment.

As y’all know, I’m a MC. A rapper. I grew up with 90s Hip-Hop and grew with it over time. So, I got to see the likes of 2-Pac, Tribe Called Quest, Lil Kim, Eminem, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, Nelly, Lil Jon, T.I, Gucci, Kanye, Nicki, Future, Drake, and then in comes the Soundcloud rappers, Cash Me Out Girl, etc.

Y’all see what I did there? These are rapper over the 90s-current time period.

Anyways… everyone raps now. And sometimes it doesn’t really take talent (i’m not calling any rapper out specifically and saying they have no talent) or the ability to write your lyrics.

One viral gimmick, some mumbling, dyed hair, face tatts, lavish lifestyle on IG, and a bad ass girl will probably make you blow up. EVEN WHEN IT’S THE VERY FIRST AND ONLY SONG YOU’VE EVER CREATED!

I think it’s hilarious, but anyways, they’re getting the bag and I do not hate on that!

So, back to what I was saying. I’m a rapper. I write my shit, and my music is dope af. Been pursing my music career for years, but I haven’t gotten the success I expected and want. I think that sometimes my music is a bit too lyrical and/or substantial for the fan base of youngins who make the other rappers blow up.

I don’t talk about girls, money, drugs, cars, killing. Well… I do talk about money at times.. and an occasional car fetish lol. But, you get what I mean.

Though, hope is not lost for me, we still have the likes of J.Cole, Jay-z, Kendrick, Rapsody right?

OK WHATS THE POINT OF THIS POST, MORGAN?

I’m going to do a 30 day experiment of what I think it takes to get people to listen to my music and make me go viral. It’s going to be SUPER gimmicky and in your face. Completely out the norm of what I usually do. This will be FUN! hahaaaa

I’ll post the steps as I go along, and will update y’all on the progress. 😆

THIS IS GOING TO BE FUN, and possible make me shake my head and the same time! lol
