I wrote this song a year after my mother’s death. It was on my heart.
It was a blank moment for me. I wouldn't say dark, more emotional. At this point all I could do is write. I had release my November 7 mix-tape 5 months after my mother passed. This song wasn’t on it. This song was my first where I explained a bit of how I felt at the moment.
It was only one verse about my mother though. I wasn’t ready to talk.
On a higher note, I’ve had people tell me they got that Andre 3000 and Dungeon Family Vibes. Dope!!!
