In 2007, I picked up a microphone and started rapping. 🎤

Ok, it wasn’t as straightforward. I developed a relationship with music around the third grade. This was in the 90’s.

I played a few instruments when I was young - violin and saxophone in concert bands to drum captain in several Marching Bands.

Even dabbled in producing music for a while. Got tired of just creating instrumentals with no artist to record to it, so I decided to give it a try.

Always had a love for Hip-Hop and dabbled in poetry a bit. So, being a lyricist only made sense. Went on to write my first Rap!

Wrote my first song called “Like This.” Didn’t love the song as much, but fell in love with the process of becoming an artist and creating.

In comes MORGANtheCEO.

The rapper, writer, audio engineer, camerawoman, video editor, and record label. I had to utilize my resources, which was myself at the time, to get my creations out.

Consistency has gotten me to where I am today. Still on the journey, embracing and loving it. Still going.
